This year team and project management met at the International Youth Guest House Linz in Austria from October 3rd – 5th for the evaluation weekend of IYM Dachau 2025.
Friday, October 3rd, 2025
We started our evaluation weekend collecting our goals for the weekend. Then we took time to read the results of this year’s evaluation forms from our participants about the youth meeting in general and the individual workshops. Thank you to everyone who gave us feedback! Afterwards we discussed these results and the following consequences for IYM Dachau 2026.
Saturday, October 4th, 2025
On the second day we took a closer look at our website and possible ways to improve it in the future. We then reflected on the cooperation and communication within the team, before we went on a walk through Linz and went to a café together. Back at the hostel we updated our check lists for next year and discussed the plans and needs for our specialized teams like social media, first aid, awareness, technique etc. In the evening, we were invited by a former IYM team member who currently lives in Linz, which we all enjoyed a lot.
Sunday, October 5h, 2025
On the last day of our meeting, we collected ideas and wishes for IYM 2026. We talked about what we wanted and what we didn’t want to keep from this year and discussed suggestions for changes. Finally, we voted about our focus topic for IYM Dachau 2026 which is ‘Solidarity & Activism’.
